Ongoing Research Projects

JRM Medical Center currently works on the clinical and community research related to cancer prevention, early detection, treatment outcomes, and women health. The ongoing studies examine the new technologies in breast cancer screening, the role of clinical psychology in cancer treatment, and the power of the models of community sensitization. Such studies will enhance the evidence-based practices and enhance patient outcomes in Cameroon and beyond.

Selected Publications

The Medical Center generates knowledge regularly in the form of academic articles, reports, and conference presentations. The publications chosen are the studies on breast oncology, surgical outcomes, and community health education models. Our site also provides visitors with a downloadable list of publications containing links to full-text articles and PDFs thus allowing open access by students, practitioners, and policymakers.

Grants, Awards & Recognitions

JRM Medical Center has been identified to be pioneering in cancer awareness and treatment programs. Regional and international partners provide grants to assist continued projects especially in breast cancer research and psychosocial care. The awards reflect the efforts of the Center to create an impact on the community health, innovation in integrated care, and contributions to the development of oncology services in resource-limited environments.

Collaboration Opportunities

We are also willing to build partnerships with universities, research centers and non-governmental organizations to enhance our scientific output and increase our influence. They can be joint clinical trials, medical staff exchange programs, and joint publications. Individuals and organizations that have the interest to join JRM Medical Center can do so by accessing our research department through the collaboration portal on our site.
