About Cancer Light Network (CLN)
JRM Medical Center has an awareness program, Cancer Light Network (CLN), which is committed to combating cancer in terms of early detection and supporting treatment and holistic care. It aims at bringing hope and light to cancer victims and communities. They are the prevention education, regular screening campaigns, giving patients the ability to access care, and psychology to enhance the overall well-being.

To lead the fight against breast cancer and other cancers through education, awareness, prevention, and compassionate support - empowering individuals, families, and communities with knowledge and hope.

A future where breast cancer and other cancers are detected early, treated effectively, and no one suffers in silence or fear - where communities across Africa stand together to end the stigma and save lives.

Past Outreach:
CLN has carried out some of the effective outreach activities,
Such as free breast cancer screening, awareness marches, school health talks, and survivor support activities. Historical activities are displayed in a photo and video gallery and it can be seen that there is great involvement of community, medical volunteers in action and also testimonies of those patients whose lives have been changed due to interventions and education at the right time.

CLN creates straightforward and practical health education resources, including self-breast examination flyers, healthy lifestyle practice PDFs, and videos delivered by experts on common health myths and facts. These materials are availed online and when the community is on a campaign bringing the individuals and the family close to the reliable and lifesaving information.
Clinical psychology services
CLN also offers advanced clinical psychology due to the psychological effects of cancer. Confidential counselling, therapy, and group sessions are supplemented to patients and family members to assist them in coping with stress, fear, and anxiety throughout the cancer experience. The holistic approach will be used to guarantee the emotional health support is provided in tandem with physical treatment, to promote resilience, and enhance the quality of life of patients.
