Breast Cancer Education Workshop
In an engaging and empowering breast cancer education workshop on August 8, 2026, the Cancer Light Network brought together 50 participants, including survivors and patients. They courageously shared their stories, motivating attendees to take charge of their breast health.
The workshop provided participants with individual medical consultations and professional guidance. Following these sessions, one new case of breast cancer was diagnosed—underscoring the vital need for accessible breast health education and early screening.
The workshop centered on breast cancer awareness, risk factors, warning signs, early detection, and the importance of seeking medical attention when changes are noticed. This enriching discourse on breast cancer was facilitated by Dr. Jude Ranchu Maimo from the Department of Breast Surgery at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University Jinan, China, who is also Founder and Director of CLN.
Through this initiative, CLN continues to strengthen community awareness and promote early detection as a key step in reducing the impact of breast cancer.
